IOWA CAUCUS 08

WELL I ATTENDED THE DEMOCRATIC CAUCUS IN BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN FRANKVILLE. I REMEMBER THE 1ST CAUCUS I ATTENDED THERE, ONLY BECAUSE MY COUSIN JUDY WAS THE CHAIRPERSON AND TALKED ME INTO GOING, I KNOW I COULD COUNT HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE ON BOTH OF MY HANDS. IN 2002, LOW AND BEHOLD MY HIGH SCHOOL GOVERNMENT TEACHER ASKED ME TO BE THE CHAIRPERSON AND I THOUGHT ABOUT HOW MANY SHOWED UP THE LAST TIME I WENT AND I THOUGHT, THAT WONT BE SUCH A BIG DEAL. I DID TALKED MY SISTER SUSAN WHO RECENTLY MOVED TO FRANKVILLE TO GO, BECAUSE COUSIN JUDY WENT OFF AND MARRIED A WAUKON IRISHMEN AND MOVED AWAY, US FEW DEMOCRATS IN FRANKVILLE TOWNSHIP, WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER ON THIS KIND OF STUFF. KAYLA WAS A SENIOR AT THAT TIME AND WE MADE A STUDENT DELEGATE. SO IF I REMEMBER RIGHT THERE WAS AN ODD NUMBER OF PEOPLE THERE, NOT EVEN 20, SO WHEN WE WENT TO DO ALL THAT MATH STUFF, THE NUMBERS SEEMED KIND OF ODD, HOPE IT WAS RIGHT. 2004 THERE WERE ABOUT THE SAME LESS THEN 20 PEOPLE THERE AGAIN.

BUT NOT IN 2008, WOWWWWWWSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAD 130 PEOPLE IN THE FIRE STATION. I GUESS THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PUT A LITTLE DIVERSITY(BLACK COLOR) AND A WOMAN IN THE MIX OF CANDIDATES, EVEN THE TREE HUGGERS CAME OUT OF THE BOONIES, AND THE COLLEGE KIDS LEFT THE LOCAL PUB TO ATTEND. SEVERAL REPUBLICAN FACES THERE(DEMOCRAT WANT TO BES???????) IT WENT VERY SMOOTHLY. WE HAD 4 CANDIDATES REPRESENTED THERE. BILL RICHARDSON HAD 17 PEOPLE, AND THEY NEEDED 20 TO COUNT, SO THOSE PEOPLE ALL HAD TO PICK ANOTHER CANDIDATE, THEY ALL DID BUT 4. ENDED UP THE COLORED GUY GOT 4, EDWARDS GOT 3 AND HILLIARY GOT 2. IT WAS OVER IN 38 MINUTES. NOW THOSE WANT TO BE DEMOCRATS (WHICH THERE WERE AT LEAST 50 OR MORE NEW REGISTERED THERE THAT NIGHT) FOUND OUT WE DON'T MESS AROUND WE TAKE CARE OF OUR BUSINESS AND MOVE ON. I ROUNDED UP A FEW OF THOSE COLLEGE KIDS AND WE HAD THE TABLES & CHAIRS PUT AWAY BY 8:00 AND I WAS SITTING ON THE FIRE TRUCK AND HAVING A COCKTAIL WITH NEIGHBORS (CRAWFORDS) BY 8:15. DARREL HAS ALWAYS BE DEMOCRAT, BUT MARY JOINED THE BAND WAGON THIS YEAR.

AS JAY LENO SAID LAST NIGHT, WHEN THE SMALL MIDWEST STATE OF IOWA ELECTS A BLACK MAN FOR PRESIDENT, ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE.

WELL THATS ENOUGH POLITICAL BULL CRAP. I NEED TO GET TO THE WRESTLING TOURN AND SEE HOW THE PIRATES ARE DOING. FRANKVILLIAN MITCHELL SCHULTZ RECEIVED HIS 100TH CAREER WIN ON THURSDAY NIGHT. WITH HIS MOTHER IN CHARGE OF PICTURES FOR THE PAPER, IM SURE THERE WILL BE SOME IN THERE.

ALSO MY SON BOUGHT ME A VERY NICE DIGITAL CAMERA FOR CHRISTMAS, I HAVE LOADED ALL THE SOFTWARE ON MY WORK COMPUTER WITH PICTURES, SO MAYBE TOMORROW I CAN SHOW YOU CHRISTMAS EXCITEMENT, AND SLEDDING IN FRANKVILLE, WINTER HAS BEEN GREAT FOR THAT

TOODLES
TERESA
