THE GREAT IOWA SNOW STORM 2007?!?!?!?

THE TITLE EXPLAINS IT ALL. WE ARE HOME FROM DES MOINES (well some of us are). DONNA, KORI & I VENTURED HOME YESTERDAY, GOT HOME ABOUT 3:00 JUST IN TIME. BUT THE FELLOWS(men that don't listen) (this is where the stupid smiley is suppose to be) STAYED FOR THE NEXT SESSION OF WRESTLING. THEY LEFT DES MOINES AT 4:15 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AND GOT TO FRANKVILLE AT 10:00 PM, IT TOOK THEM 35 MINUTES TO GET FROM POSTVILLE TO FRANKVILLE(at a crawl Doug said). NEEDLESS TO SAY OUR BOYS STAYED IN DES MOINES FOR THE WRESTLING FINALS TONIGHT(i'm sure they will have some stories, like remember the storm at the 2007 state wrestling when our folks left at the hotel alone for 3 days)
AND THE WEATHER HAS NOT CHANGED YET TODAY, WE HAVE ABOUT 1/2 IN TO 1 INCH OF ICE ON OUR WINDOWS, THE WEATHER MAN SAYS 13-20 INCHES OF SNOW TONIGHT THRU TOMORROW. AND THE WIND IS BLOWING LIKE A SON OF #@%&*
SO I FILLED THE CROCK POT FULL OF BEEF STEW THIS MORNING AND THE SCHULTZ'S ARE COMING OVER FOR SUPPER AND TO WATCH THE WRESTLING ON TV.
THE SCANNER HAS BEEN INTERESTING THIS AFTERNOON. FIRST CLAYTON CO. SAYS IF A CAR GOES IN THE DITCH ANYWHERE IN CLAYTON CO. IT WILL STAY THERE UNTIL THE SUN SHINES. FAYETTE CO, IS NOW REPORTING ALL KINDS OF POWER LINES DOWN. THEY ARE CLOSING HWY 3, HWY 150. COULD BE AN INTERESTING EVENING.
I GUESS THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO REPORT NOW. I THINK I WILL HEAD FOR THE COUCH WITH MY BLANKET AND BOOK. I WILL TRY AND KEEP YOU UPDATED, UNLESS WE LOSE POWER TOO.

TOODLES
TERESA
